We were able to help buy land at the village of Mangoase to build a meeting place which local people using local materials did.. The team take regular Sunday services there and do house to house visiting on Saturdays. They conducted another Mission last Christmas.
Umar Farouk Ibrahim sought our help again this year. Having successfully completed his college course in Business Management he has been trying to get a good job for 18 months during which he has been caring for his mother and setting her up in a market business and doing community gardening jobs. He needed £200 to pay advance rent on a room in another town to do a year’s unpaid work experience for a bank who will take him on full time after that. Three of our supporters have provided 80% of that sum.
Ebenezer Cobbina as written from Post Office Box TD 1278, Takoradi. Ghana. He is a cripple and users crutches for mobility. He has asked for £250 to buy a wheel chair and boots. This would improve his mobility and enable him to carry his books to school, He says he is a Christian Unfortunately we have no way yet of checking he is who he says he is.. I am trying to check this out through the Ghana Baptist Convention & another reliable contact in Takoradi and have asked them to help to find a solution. This could be a hoax request,
Pastor Jacob Masoperh of Winning Souls ChapeI international Takoradi has written asking for £500-£600 to provide a Bible each to all his congregation of 400 people whose names he also sent. None of them has a Bible. This could be a hoax request We are double checking this with Rev Kojo Amo General Secretary of the Ghana Baptist Convention. If genuine any help will be appreciated.

He needed £564 to pay his tuition fees for 2006 and 2007. Someone else paid 2005 but has gone back to America, We have paid half that sum as for 2006 and now we need the other half to be donated to pay the same sum in May 2007. He has no money.
