Dear Friend
Thank you for opening up this message.
For every problem there is hope of improvement.
All of us are capable of being depressed or elated
When everything is going well for us we can be elated and content, but the first wiff of trouble can bring us down with a bump
What happens next is dependent on the attitude we adopt...pessimistic, cynical, optimistic, or hopeful
Christians can always be hopeful which means "filled with confidence". Things may get worse but ultimately they can only get better.
What is the worst that can happen. a stroke, a coma, prison, a beating, extended suffering or persecution, death?
None of that is optimistic but all of it is surrounded by hope because Jesus Christ who was sent from Heaven to Earth to tell us the truth, though he was killed, he also rose triumphant over DEATH and raised others that were dead at the same time. He had previously redstored to life 3 people who had been dead, one of them for 4 days.
After rising from being dead he appeared to up to 500 of his friends over a period of 6 weeks as proof before he returned to Heaven where he reigns supreme as King, over the Kingdom of Heaven with his Father and the Holy Spirit, one Universal Supreme Authority - in one word GOD, for ever more.
He also has over 2 billion followers on Earth all of whom are certified citizens of His Kingdom.
Whatever we have to suffer, if we trust in Him as our Saviour and Provider, He will guarantee our care and when we die we will enter into a new form of living in a new pain free body in Heaven.
In every condition of life, Jesus can make a change, if we will co-operate with Him by believing in him, trusting him, turning away from failure and wrong doing, trusting him to forgive us, and seeking with his help to obey him.
Whatever our distress, he shares it with us, and he can enable us to get through.
He can enable and empower us to live lives that express love, kindness, helpfulness, forgiveness, joy, confidence, and so much more.
This is what we, you and me, our families, friends, neighbours need most of all -- The Christian Hope. The wider world of mankind needs this too.
