LORD OF THE RINGS
In the Olympic Year 2004 under the sign of the 5 linked circles or rings
Each ring represents a Continent of Earth and together spans all races
Each different colour represents all the spectrum of the NATIONS
On the 5th Day of Christmas my truelove sent to me 5 Golden Rings
The true love of the old carol represents God in Christ Jesus in all his generosity and
Our 5 Golden Rings are
O O O O O
From Ephesians chapter 1. Verse 3
3Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.
4For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love
5he arranged in advance out of his love for us that we be adopted as his sons and daughters through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will—<br>
6to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.
7In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace
8that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding
9And he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he planned and purposed in Christ,
10to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment--to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ.
11In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will,
12in order that we, who were the first to hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory.
13And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit,
14who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession--to the praise of his glory.
JESUS SAYS to you
Ephesians 1 v 4 I chose you
Ephesians 1 v 5 I love you
Ephesians 1 v 7 I forgive you
Ephesians 1 v 9-12 I have plans for you
Ephesians 1 v 13-14 I have power for you by the Holy Spirit
Our task in life as Christians is
MISSION IMPOSSIBLE The Ministry of Reconciliation to reconcile ourselves, with one another with our neighbours., with fellow Christians, and between churches, families, communities, and nations and reconcile us all with GOD
Forgiveness means first to give. Being the first one to give in,
to make the first move a forgiveness based on the limitless love of God. .
Being forgiven means freedom from sin and removal of our sins far from us
In attempting it we must remember we have been
personally chosen, equipped and enabled
by Him who loves us and forgives us
who has planned what we are to be and to do
and has provided by the Holy Spirit a seal of power and authority
The seal is like an engagement ring, it is the promise of more to come.
The Dove that represents Peace is the symbol of the Holy Spirit
of gentleness, peace, joy. love, truth, and power
JESUS CHRIST is THE LORD OF THE RINGS
