UTTLESFORD OUTREACH 2012
############################
From 2003 – 2009 supporters of The Lighthouse Prayer Ministry (MCCPF) funded and we had delivered to almost all addresses in Saffron Walden the 12 page tabloid newspaper NEW LIFE NEWS
Since 2009 supporters of The Lighthouse Prayer Ministry (MCCPF) have funded and we have had delivered VIA Gospel Magazine [ produced by a Brethren Church in Canada one edition each year for the past 41 years ] to most of the homes in Stansted Mountfitchet and over 30 villages
With this we offer two phone numbers, a postal address to the Christian Enquiry Agency and their email address, 10 websites and a response form enabling people to obtain a free New Testament and a Free Bible Study Course.
After each visit this year there has been a significant increase in hits to our Websites and over 4 years 300 people have accessed our “Seeking Christians in Saffron Walden” board and over 150 have accessed “How to become a Christian”
This year Ken Bedward has been helping me with this distribution and together we have reached over 1700 homes house to house across Bartlow,Berden, Catmere End, Chrishall, Clavering, Duddenhoe End, Elmdon. Great & Little Sampford, Hadstock, Langley, Littlebury Green, Manuden, Stansted Mountfitchet and Wicken Bonhunt,Great & Little Easton, and over 1000 homes have been reached at Thaxted including Bardfield End Green and Cutlers Green. A few more outlying hamlets in Thaxted Parish await being done. We have reached 75 new homes in Saffron Walden.
We hope to do several more hamlets and villages this year. Next target areas are Debden Green, Farnham. Stebbing.
If God wills it maybe we could do Dunmow next year beginning with Church End and visiting Flitch Green where there are hundreds of new homes but as far as we know no church building?.
NKJV Gospels with introductory RBC Daily Bible notes have been left in 2 BT Phone kiosks now used as libraries, in bus shelters, and on village church pulpits. Some of my friends accepted info as to where they could buy Gospels to distribute when on holiday.

We support the FINAL MESSAGE TO THE LOST SHEEP CHURCH at Nchelenge in Northern Zambia founded 7 years ago, a congregation of 50 -70 people with 5 Elders one of which acts as Minister Jackson Chanda whose wife Christine helps him. They have 4 children of their own, 3 daughters Chalwe 13, Hildah 4 and Hazel 8 months and a son Jackson Junior who is 8.
We have been supporting with Christian literature and cassettes this evangelistic ministry out of which this church was formed, for about 10 years. The Church operates a Youth Vocational Training Scheme launched in 2011 by a grant of thousands of pounds worth of training equipment sent out by Tools With a Mission at Ipswich which we raised £1000 to pay freight and transport costs. The equipment is used in a network of small enterprise groups with volunteer trainers.''
Our Main Annual Task is to raise £500 a year to educate 10 Aids Orphans adopted some years ago by Jackson Chanda who attend KALWEO PRIMARY SCHOOL [ Headmaster Mr Giberi Chishimba ] paying 2 terms while 2 other former Church members living away pay the other term. Three more people each giving £75, the cost per child per year, would reduce the strain on one giving 4 times that amount. We have enough received or promised, to cover the next 15 months unless the fees rise. This project is called Nchelenge Aids Orphans Education Mission
Jackson Chanda assisted by 8 lay preachers has also evangelised for three years 3 islands on the Lake Mweru, Katofyo Island, Chisenga Island, and Kabeke Island. Each has a growing Church congregation.
The 3 Elders in Charge of the 3 Churches needed Study Bibles and we have now been enabled to supply each with one
We have been enabled to provide Large Print Local Language [ Bemba ] Bibles to 58 poorly sighted adult converts plus 72 English Bibles bought in Zambia from a bookshop 100 miles away for which we paid carriage of £13 for people at the 3 mission Churches on the islands. They need another 228 @ £5 each, costing £1140 plus £50 carriage costs. When that can be achieved we don't know, but it is a work in progress and any sum that helps reduce the total would be appreciated.

Tools With A Mission at Ipswich in Suffolk have a request for training equipment and computers from Nkuba Davies Chola of P O B0X 740169 NCHELENGE, ZAMBIA who is Secretary of the TOGETHER WE SURVIVE GROUP. This is a group of poor citizens suffering from various disabilities for whom there is no benefits net, no work, no education and little care or support from the community. Some have only one leg or arm. Some are quite naturally depressed.
They have no church or meeting place so they meet in a couple of groups outside. They have little or no work and seem just abandoned by the worlds around them
Training equipment could make a big difference to their lives.
Elder Jackson Chanda recommends that they be helped.
Tools With a Mission have a 2½ years backlog of requests So should be able to meet this request in 2014-2015. The stock cannot go until money has been guaranteed. About £800 to us THE LIGHTHOUSE PRAYER MINISTRY to pay TWAM and about £300 to send by Moneygram for overland haulage.

has surfaced again after years of being out of touch during which he has been in prison in Gambia and become Gay. Because of this his 2 sisters whom he abandoned disown him. He needs to be reconciled with God, them and the Church. We reconnected via FACEBOOK and I sent him booklets about forgiveness and we were in email contact. He studied with our help electronics at the Maritime Academy and he has a job with a shipping company. He wanted me to invite him to UK by securing him a visitors VISA. I declined. He appreciated the booklet on Forgiveness but appears to be unwilling to give up his homosexual practices. He hopes we will meet in Heaven to which I responded that according to New Testament teaching homosexuals are banned from the Kingdom of God and from Heaven so he would need to repent and give up anal and oral sex. He has not replied further.
People are not born Gay, they become Gay by choice in defiance of God's word and the more they immerse themselves in pornography and unnatural indecent sexual practices the more they become addicted to it until God gives up on them and lets them do as they wish unrestrained.
On the Internet there are millions of references to a scientific experiment that proves some men have a homosexual gene, but the experiment was carried out by only one man who was himself Gay, and therefore prejudiced. His evidence was tried out by several other imminent scientists who all agreed he was wrong.
Every young man passing through puberty may be drawn towards other men, usually young men like himself all in the same boat trying to come to terms with their feelings and physical changes.
Some may be drawn together with great affection, emotion and friendship and there is nothing wrong with that, even to the extent of hugging and kissing.
They may enjoy being in the nude together and basically that is not a problem either. There are many millions of nudists worldwide and a lot of them are Christians, including ministers and deacons. Even a Christian Nudist Fellowship.
However if they then let their physical lust develop unrestrained, their natural sex drive can get out of control. They have to learn to exercise restraint. Alas there are all too many older men willing for the sake of their own lusts to groom and mislead younger people.
Lesbians develop in the same way
as do bi-sexual people.
They are what they are by choice, not by birth or accident but by desire.

wrote recently. He suffers from severe leprosy. By the time he was found the disease had done severe damage to his body. He has no hands and just stumps instead of fingers, and he has lost both legs to the knee. His wife left him, and he has 3 children who depend upon him and the only way he can get an income is by begging. We have helped him before and at his request we supplied him a Reference Study Bible. He recently asked for £50 as begging was not bringing what it had and his main helper has moved to another town. We could not send £50 but sent £25 and hope to send the rest later.

In March we had sufficient funds to complete a request from the Disciples of God Church at Ibadan Nigeria for 140 more
Bibles, Our contact there Paul has now asked for 350 more for converts from the revival that has broken out there in the wake of
severe persecution by Moslems. I have advised him to try the United Bibles Societies or the Trinitarian Bible Society as he has asked for AV Bibles. The Church there wants to give them out to new converts already waiting in 4 villages, 3 markets, 2 prisons, and for a new church planted in Osun State.
If we did this it will cost another £350 plus £13 Moneygram fee.
I have also suggested he contact the Barnabas Fund and Open Doors Ministry to see whether they could help his Church.
Several young people have emailed their thanks back to us from a cyber café. One asked of AV Bibles for 2 friends.
We have a 1955 C of E Book of Common Prayer with complete Bible including the Apocrypha we can send and we want one more AV Bible.
We responded too to a request
for some elderly people near Benin for 10 large print Bibles and a Christian bookshop in
their town was able to supply them.

I would appreciate prayer for me for healing. I am daily in much pain,
Due to bad cholesterol at 28 I have had to diet and lose weight and am on 40mg statins The side effects is a lot of muscle pain. In 5 weeks I have lost several kilos and my cholesterol has been halved to 14 but we need to get it much lower.
I have suffered from muscular rheumatism since I was a boy and it just gets worse and typing at the computer just makes it worse.
So daily I have acute back pain, shoulder pain, collar and neck and arm pain between shoulder and elbow. And on pain killers. At least the pain to heel and ankle which was so severe from last Sept to this July has passed away.
We thank the LORD GOD for enabling us to go on reaching and helping more people to discover Him.
We commend the use of GOOD NEWS a 4 page ( A4 ) coloured Gospel leaflet on Glossy paper published by OPERATION O.F.F.E.R, PO Box 29, BELFAST. BT8 7ST. The one sent to us was edition 79. Circulation at present is 107,000 three times a year. They have a Telephone Ministry.

Let us continue to pray for Sergie Ivaniuk who after a 3 year silence wrote to say he had been working in the Crimea. He was living in a tent and each evening read the English Bible we sent him years ago. He acquired a Welsh one and wants to learn Welsh. We seek for him a Welsh-English dictionary.

who we have supported over many years as an evangelist who was taken very ill last year but is much better now. Before taken ill he was able to distribute personally Bibles to a number of top executives in his country. He tells us that he has obtained employment to provide a consultancy for a micro finance firm. He tells us that his brother Dennis graduated from a top IT college in July, & his brother Richard enlisted in the Ghanaian Navy in October.

has surfaced again after years of being out of touch during which he has been in prison in Gambia and become Gay.

We responded too to a request
for some elderly people near Benin for 10 large print Bibles and a Christian bookshop in
their town was able to supply them.

arrived home from evangelising to find his church building and home a smouldering ruin, one of 22 churches torched by the Satanic Islamists. 23 of his congregation have lost their homes and with them their Bibles and he had lost his and asked for a Study Bible. I have sent him a Thompson Chain Reference Bible given to me last year, and we have been able at £2 a copy to supply the other 23 with replacement Bibles. His congregation of 115 are worshipping beneath a large tree. They rejoiced with singing, dancing and fasting when the Bibles arrived. He asked for another 40 Bibles for new converts and these we have supplied.
