ESSEX PRAYER DIARY
PRAYING WITH BRITISH BAPTISTS
APRIL – JUNE 2013
Regional Ministry Team – Rev. Sheila Martin
Greetings from the Regional Ministry Team. One of the things that encourages us as we travel around the Association and visit different churches each week, is to find churches using the Prayer Diaries that are produced for each of the Counties in the EBA. It is such a symbol of our shared life, our relationship with one another.
In May many of us will gather for our annual Baptist Assembly, this year held in Blackpool. It is a time of renewing acquaintances and catching up with friends as well as being a gathering of our Baptist family. Once again relationships are a key component of the Assembly.
By June we should know how much has been allocated for Home Mission grants for 2014. In the meantime David Hughes has been busy doing all the administration for these grants; a whole team of visitors have been to see the churches and ministers making application. The Regional Team have been working away alongside churches to make the process as smooth as possible. We want to thank the EBA churches for their generous giving to Home Mission in 2012.
These are just three of the ways in which we express our relationships with one another across the Association. Please pray in the coming months for Paul Hills as he is part of the Transitional Steering Group of the BUGB, for safety and inspiration for all those who will gather for the Assembly in Blackpool and for the Home Mission application process. Pray for each other as we watch over one another and walk together in the love of God.
