Anthony Aboagye,

School teacher, gospel song writer, lay preacher and Assistant Secretary of Victory Baptist Church Mallam Accra has now applied to Midwest Baptist Seminary Kansas USA for ministerial training with the support of the elders of his Church subject to obtaining a visa and work permit.
Robert Amuzu
#########
has been working in Togo since 2005. It is hard going as he has to work in French where his main language is English. He now faces possible transfer to Nigeria but ihas been offered a job with an Insurance Company in Ghana due to start in January..
He tells us that the old man who provided them with a room for their team headquarters at the Charter House at Bawjaise has died and so the friends that ministered from there have all been scattered, as the house has passed into the hands of others.
The congregation there has diminished and joined other local churches. Many who made up the team at Winneba have completed their terms as students and moved on, but there is still a worshipping and witnessing group there connected to the colleges.
The Church started at Mangoase continues. Robert has made contact with a new brother Frederic Anim, a freelance evangelist from Kumasi who is to help the cause at Mangoase after a month at Bawjaise, being looked after by Alice who we helped fund for a dressmaking course last year.
Continue to pray for Francis Mensah who works there too and student preachers who visit homes on Saturdays and preach on Sundays.
Robert has spent £80 to fund Fred as pastor and needs to find another £140 within 3 months to finance another Student Mission there during December. Some of that is now to hand in the UK.
The team there are also trying yo aquire a small holding so the pastorate can be self supporting of food.
If anyone can help him Robert can be reached best by emailing
robbie04gh@yahoo.com

Do so by Small Packet Rate surface (sea) rate maximum 2 kilo) with a signed customs sticker from the Post Office marked as a gift. His address is PO Box SW261 Agona Swedru C/R Ghana. Money for him may be send to me. He is very reliable.
Arhin Mensah Simms,

the leader of the gang in last year’s SCAM at Dunkwa has written a letter of apology admitting his guilt and seeking forgiveness. I have replied and sent him literature and put him on the regular mailing for TWFT advising him to join a local church and make restitution to his victims.
We have since been warned that he has done this before with other people and it has proved to be entirely deceptive, We commit him to the Holy Spirit as only God can change him.
Haruna Bawah

has now moved from Accra to Kukurantumi in the Eastern Region where he has obtained a teaching post , teaching Science and Maths at Christian Heritage Secondary & Technical School.
He arrived at his unfurnished rented room with his belongings 1 radio and his clothes, and bought a single student mattress to sleep on. He walks to a friend 3 kilometres away for his meals. Having only a thin mattress on a cold floor he ended up in hospital with pneumonia. The money we sent helped pay the hospital bills. They also secured him a real bed.
He acquired a girl friend, but some months into the relationship she confessed to being a Moslem. He was determined to convert her and has asked for booklets to help her in her ignorance.
We supplied the booklets and after studying them Maryam became a Christian, as a result of which her parents evicted her from the family home and she is staying with a female teacher of Haruna’s school and we sent help to set her up in business.

Richard & Sarah Lubale report from Jinja that they now have a van for enabling them to extend their range of ministry in organising AIDS awareness courses, and providing help to AIDS sufferers and their children as they become orphans.
They run ACCOD (NGO Registered No S5914/4656) which is short for Alpha Childcare and Community Development Organisation. A leaflet we issued for them some years ago has led to a number of people contacting and helping them.
They are now helping 800 children with educational support and medical care The last grant we were able to send them provided clothing for 15 children. They have in their care 200 children who for lack of funds cannot go to school. £60 a year would pay for a child to go to school. An organisation in Holland is helping them financially for several years ahead and that will support 160 other children and 36 families.
Richard and Sarah also have 3 children of their own. Matthew in his 8th year, Mark in his 5th and Martha in her third.
